Perfectly Plaid

Plaid has never looked so chic in this two-piece set from Ann Taylor. Sometimes I think plaid gets a bad wrap – like it can only be worn in the fall when you’re apple picking or going on a camping trip – but I love plaid for all seasons and I especially love incorporating it into my workwear. Winter White

I don’t think there is anything more striking than wearing white, especially in the winter. The trick is choosing the right color white. I reserve the stark, bright whites for the summer, and go for more of a creamy white in the winter. OTK = Over The Knee

Over The Knee boots have been all the rage and I understand that they can be a little intimidating. The key is pairing them with the right outfit. I generally wear OTK boots with a loose or flowing dress so the overall look isn’t too sexy. Also, wearing dark tights with them will give your legs a longer appearance (and keep you nice and warm)! The same goes for pants or jeans – wear a flowing top with skinny pant and OTK boots for an updated look. This dress is from White House Black Market and it is so versatile.
